Qualifications
Registered Nurses will need ACLS and BLS. Unit Clerks will need BLS. All are required within six months of hiring and are offered at our facility.
New graduates are welcome.
What to Expect Working on Unit
- Available shifts: 12-hour shifts, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. and are expected to work holidays (this will depend on your employment level)
- Orientation will depend on your level of experience, usually four – 12 weeks
Educational Opportunities Specific to Area/Career Growth
We provide continuing education for unit specific issues and processes. We encourage furthering of degrees and certification in your area of expertise. We offer Intra Aortic Balloon Pump classes (IABP) and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy classes (CRRT) to name a couple, as well as critical care specific modules in Healthstream.
