The Surgery Center of Aiken
Aiken Regional expanded its services by welcoming an ambulatory surgery center in 2018. The Surgery Center of Aiken (SCA) is the only same-day, multi-specialty, outpatient surgical facility in Aiken. The facility is 15,000 square feet and features four operating rooms and two procedure rooms.
Job Specifics
- Available shifts: 8 or 10 hour shifts
- Hours of operation for scheduled surgeries: 6:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Call required after hours for emergent cases: Weekend call (Friday, Saturday, Sunday – once a month) and 1 – 2 calls weekdays; Holiday calls – 2 per year
- Orientation will depend on your level of experience, usually 4 – 12 weeks
