Jim O'Loughlin Named New Chief Executive Officer of Aiken Regional
Aiken Regional Medical Centers is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim O’Loughlin, PhD, MBA, MS, to Chief Executive Officer, effective February 27, 2019. In this role, O’Loughlin is responsible to drive the growth and performance of the hospital, as well as provide strategic direction and oversight to ensure the highest quality of patient care and safety for our community.
O’Loughlin comes to Aiken Regional from Community Health Systems where he served as the Project CEO/President and Chief Executive Officer.

O’Loughlin earned his Doctor of Philosophy from Florida State University, Master of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University, Master of Science from the University of South Carolina and Bachelor’s of Science from Springfield College. O’Loughlin and his wife, Helen, are the proud parents of two grown children. In his spare time, Jim enjoys golf and competing in triathlons.
